Introducing Karen Wareham
With over 30 years of teaching experience, Karen remains as passionate about music education as ever. After gaining her music degree and teaching qualification from the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, she have dedicated her career to inspiring both children and adults of all ages and abilities — from complete beginners to Grade 8 and beyond.
As a multi-instrumentalist specialising in woodwind and piano, she brings a broad and practical musicianship to her teaching. Alongside her work as an educator, she performs professionally and believes that sharing the joy and confidence that comes from live performance is an essential part of learning music.
She is committed to nurturing each student’s individual strengths, building solid technique, and fostering a genuine love of music that lasts a lifetime.

Introducing Caroline Heggie
Caroline Heggie is a versatile musician with a passion for teaching Violin. She has over 15 years of experience as a violinist and music theorist.
She trained in the USA where she earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in music education. She has taught privately, in primary and secondary schools, and at the university level. Caroline prioritises inclusivity and her teaching philosophy emphasises inspiring love for music at all levels. Her academic research has focused on utilising existing performance skills to achieve demanding music theory requirements. She has remained active in the performance scene, a member of Norwich’s Philharmonic Orchestra and Mozart Orchestra. Introducing Nick Ball
Nick Ball brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to his teaching. As the course leader for Performing Arts at East Coast College (Gt. Yarmouth) for the last 25 years, alongside working as a director and musical director for several theatre companies (including his own company, Triple T Productions), Nick has helped develop many performers, leading to several of them attending prestigious universities and drama schools and subsequently performing around the world.
Nick trained at the London College of Music and has performed regularly, onstage in musicals and pantomimes, as an instrumental soloist, as an accompanist, and in various bands and orchestras, performing a wide variety of styles and genres.
Developing and nurturing talent has always been Nick’s overall priority in his teaching whether it be as a hobby or working towards qualifications, and he has experience teaching all ages.
